Who can attend the TLC? 
Youth ages 12-17 years old.

Where is the Camp held?
TLC 2016 is located in Sarona, Wisconsin at Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary.  
When are the forms due for Camp?
TLC 2016 registration will close July 1st. Please email correspondences to

What is the cost of Camp?
$895, limited time only!
Due to received donations and sponsorship commitments, we are able to offer partial scholarships.

There is a $250 deposit required to ensure that your teen has a space.
Class is limited to 20 teens only. It will be a first committed, first served basis.

What does the cost of Camp cover?
The tuition covers the camper’s lodging, meals, and all activities at camp. If transportation to and from Minneapolis, MN (MSP) airport will be an extra $200 fee.

What is meal time like?
Attendees are served three balanced meals times a day, with appropriate dietary portions. Breakfast is approximately 8 am, lunch 12:00 and dinner 5:30. Healthy snacks will be available at all breaks.

What about special dietary needs or allergies?
While there will be a nurse on staff throughout your youth's stay, please contact our office if your youth has special dietary needs. Hunt Hill Audubon is ready and willing to be user friendly with campers who need support in this area.  Campers with special dietary needs must advise Hunt Hill Audubon staff and TLC staff both through the Health Form and upon arrival to camp.

Can the family choose roommates for their child?
We will do our best to accommodate your needs; however, campers are grouped by a pre-selection process in accordance to sex, age, small groups, etc. 

​What does a typical day look like?   
Each day will be full of learning opportunities and recreation time. Below is a sample schedule. This will give you some idea of what it looks like to attend Camp. This again is a sample day and can be shifted or changed depending on the needs or the teens. Thursday will be different due to our field trip to a challenge course.

What kind of security is provided?
Our staff does bed checks and grounds checks to ensure the safety and security for all involved. Staff and Counselors will also patrol the area.

What are the qualifications for the adult and youth staff?
All staff members, youth and adults have been pre-screened and individually selected, and in addition to their professional training have undergone a thorough criminal history and background check.

Will teens have free time for activities?
Yes, the campers will have time to play sports, build relationships and many other fun activities.

If flying to TLC, what airport do teens fly into?
Campers are to fly into Minneapolis (MSP) in Minnesota. They will be met in The Baggage Claim area. Please provide your arrival and departure information to the camp. Email your itinerary to tanya@empowering4impact.com as soon as you book your flight but please send by July 1st, 2016.

Check-in will be from 12pm-4pm Saturday at the Minneapolis (MSP), MN Airport. If your flight is coming in after 4pm let us know and we will make special arrangements. If you are in need of extra assistance please call 715.296.3037.

How are the males and females housed while at TLC?
During the sessions all campers are together. At night males will be in male dorms and females will be in female dorms. Each dorm also houses adult and youth staff of the same gender.

What material will my child cover while at TLC?
A variety of material will be covered while at TLC. Many of the topics and materials covered will be in the arena of leadership and practicing the natural leadership abilities within all of us, and how to step into new levels of leadership by unlocking their greatness. There will also be games, activities, and challenges that support teens in their desire to learn and interact with these principles. More information can be found on our Experience page.
